Both parties are throwing numbers and spin in the hopes of winning over the voters.

Secondly, the polls are not comparable. The WRAP polls claim to have been taken in Calgary-Glenmore, while the PC's conducted their poll Calgary-wide.

Thirdly, it is dangerous to use the 2008 general election as a benchmark. I strongly suspect that the results will end up being somewhere in between the 2007 by-elections and the 2008 general election.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6897479481146623890.post-75129068923998464462009-09-01T09:25:27.430-06:002009-09-01T09:25:27.430-06:00I am hoping that the WRA is able to get out the vo...I am hoping that the WRA is able to get out the vote, and that many of the telephone participants involved in the poll who support the tories are going to choose to stay home this election.

It could get very, very interesting in Glenmore.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6897479481146623890.post-67368527852307314552009-08-28T22:06:32.283-06:002009-08-28T22:06:32.283-06:00Check out Mr. MacDonald's CV, and ask yourself...Check out Mr. MacDonald's CV, and ask yourself: how DID this socialist corporatist hanger-on GET his gigs, anyway? :-)
Thompson MacDonald

Mr. MacDonald is a corporate director with extensive and varied service on public, private and community service boards.

Mr. MacDonald chairs the board of ENMAX Corporation.
